so this commercial is being taken down and off of tv after Cheerios got complaints from people about how this commercial is promoting bi-racial families. as a child coming from a bi-racial family i’m actually astonished and disgusted. it’s 20 fucking 13 people, get a grip.

My mom is half black and half german. My dad is white. I’m a quadroon and look like a paler version of that little girl (with massive ringlet-filled hair). My sister showed me this commercial and I was really excited about the fact that it was a bi-racial family and that “Wow people are finally acknowledging that people can be multi-racial, and this commercial is just plain cute!” But then she told me it got taken down, and I can’t even fathom how or why anyone would find this offensive. Peeps be cray.

I often wish going topless was ok for ladies. I honestly don’t understand why it’s such a big deal, but then again I did spend a decent chunk of my childhood in Germany where it wasn’t a big deal. Also the shaving thing, since as of this year I’ve gone from shaving as little as possible (like only if my legs/pits would be exposed) to giving up on shaving entirely. So far no one has said anything, so hopefully that’ll keep being the case.. because not shaving ever is the best.

One of the biggest things I don’t understand is why people seem to be scared of nips. Like everyone has nipples and people seem to find it acceptable if a man’s nips are all pointing about ‘cause it’s cold but then, if a lady’s nipples are visible through her shirt people just thinks she’s a skank. What’s up with that?

Also, ain’t nothing wrong with boobs flying free. I often get jealous when I’m working out with my boyfriend in his garage and it’s really hot so he’ll just rip off his shirt and continue his work out whereas I just have to keep on wearing my shirt and sweating all over. Just ain’t right. Plus his man pecs are like, twice as big as my tiny boobs, so what’ s the big deal? 

oop, I did another paint practice. Painterly version of that husky nose nipping picture going around the internet. Yes. Painting is good. 

My significant other suggested I paint this picture, since it’s one of his favourite cute animal things. He was very excited about it. 

I wanted to practice painting in Sai and flesh tones give me so much trouble, so I went for my favourite type of bird, the quetzal, instead!

Some drawing/colour practice based off of an antique doll. I think I may try to do another. 

Oh how I adore dolls!
